This week, there is a very important event, and I hope you&#8217;re planning for it!<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3>October 17th Special Event<\/h3>\n<p>What special event occurs on October 17th every year?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"Spreadsheet Day\" href=\"https:\/\/spreadsheet-day.com\/blog\/\" target=\"_blank\">Spreadsheet Day<\/a>!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Who uses spreadsheets?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accountants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What is a nickname for accountants?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bean counters<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What should we have for supper on Spreadsheet Day?<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bean Soup!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Spreadsheet Day Bean Soup<\/h3>\n<p>No, this isn&#8217;t a recipe blog, but since Excel is involved, we&#8217;ll allow a recipe mention, just this once. I put <a title=\"White Bean Soup with Andouille and Collards\" href=\"https:\/\/suppertonight.wordpress.com\/2011\/02\/15\/white-bean-soup-with-andouille-and-collards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">White Bean Soup with Andouille and Collards<\/a> on our weekly menu this week, for Spreadsheet Day. We&#8217;ve had it a couple of times before, and really enjoyed it.<\/p>\n<p>This slow cooker soup perfect for a special event on a cool fall day.
