Excel Errors With Access Database

Recently, I’ve heard from a couple of people who were getting strange errors in Excel, when they tried to get data from an Access database. In both cases, things had been going smoothly for a long time, then suddenly stopped working. What was going wrong?

These Excel errors were different from the Read Only database problem that I wrote about before.

Monthly Website Backups-Stay Safe

Do you do regular website backups? Today I’m making some structural changes to one of my blogs, which is hosted on Hostgator. The instruction page on Hostgator warns (ominously) that you should make a full site backup before beginning. That sounded like good advice, so I decided to follow it!

AWeber Link Tracking Not Working

As I’ve mentioned before, I use AWeber to manage my mailing list, and I’m generally pleased with the way that it works. Recently though, I discovered a major problem with the AWeber link tracking feature. I’ve lost data, but have learned how to avoid the problem in the future. As is often the case with computer problems, it was user error!
